A Tale of Two Investigation Teams

 He found Richie in his room strumming on his guitar. “Hey Kidd what’s up?” Rich asked. “I just got off the phone with Mary.” He said as he sat down. Richie just looked at Jon and noticed how glum he looked. “Kidd please tell me you didn’t tell her about your indiscretion.” Richie hoped.  Jon just gave Rich a slight smile and a shake of his head no. “I called her to see how she was feeling, and to find out what happened between her and that MICK guy.” He said annoyed. “Oh I bet she just loved that.” Richie said back disapprovingly. “Actually she wasn’t, she seemed nervous. Then she got upset when I accused her of well you know.” He told Rich. “Well isn’t that the pot calling the kettle black.” Richie said chuckling. “Very funny. But I still get the feeling that there’s something that she’s not telling me.” He told his best friend. “Well it’s not like you can come out and accuse her of anything you know after what you did.” Richie stated outright....

At the hospital Cecilia had arrived and wasn’t too happy. “Okay, one of you going to tell me what the hell happened!” “Hello to you to Mom.” Rick said.  “Richard!” she growled thru gritted teeth. “Mom were sorry okay. It was supposed to be just a surveillance assignment that’s all. The perps must have taken off and they must have followed them. We’re not sure yet what happen because they can’t really talk right now. You know smoke inhalation and all.” A.J. said. “Well is she involved with this one too?” Cecilia asked sarcastically. “What? No of course not. I don’t think Jon would like it.” A.J. said. “Excuse me but no Ma’am they’re not seeing each other if you’re referring to my Brother Mick. “ Joe stated. “Well yes I was young man only because they were together and I’m sorry he was hurt also.
